Travel Photo Contest

The Georgia Tech Alumni Travel Photo Contest is open to all Georgia Tech alumni, spouses and friends who participated in a Georgia Tech Alumni Travel sponsored tour in the given year. The 2025 Travel Photo Contest is open to guests who travel on a GT tour between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025.    

Photographs are entered into one of the following categories: People, Places, Culture and Animals. Each photo is judged on its creativity and quality, as well as its relevance to the specific category in which it is entered. Photos are judged by Georgia Tech Alumni Association Staff and Georgia Tech travelers who participated in a Georgia Tech tour in the past year.  

Note: Photo submissions for the 2025 Travel Photo Contest are not currently being taken. 

2024 Photo Contest Winners

All 2025 Photo Contest Entries
PEOPLE - persons traveling on the tour or living in the region visited
PLACES - landscapes, monuments, buildings, scenery of the region
CULTURE - festivals, events, activities that are representative of a region
ANIMALS - wildlife of all kinds specific to a region

Number of Submissions
Each traveler is allowed to submit one photo in each of the categories per trip. Each photo entry must be submitted with its own completed entry form.

Photo Title
Travelers must write a creative two to seven-word description or title go with their photo. The title will be used in judging the photo.
